Prevent Your Beautiful Headphones From Stinking With Silica Gel Bags

I have good noise canceling on-ear headphones that I wear almost every day. The point is, I’ve been wearing them for so long that they often create their own damp, humid atmosphere. And sometimes they get a little smelly. Rough, I know, but I found a simple solution.

I always save those little silica gel packets you find in electronics and food packaging and always look for ways to use them. To keep my headphones sounding funky and not smelling funky, I insert a couple of bags into the ear pads when I’m not wearing them. Silica gel is a desiccant or desiccant that absorbs moisture. No moisture means no bacteria. They’re also great for your duffel bag.
