Android / iOS: When you’re looking forward to an event, you can’t help but worry as you watch the days go by. Countdown helps you keep track of everything you’re looking forward to in one beautiful app.
An app from timeanddate.com allows you to add a large image, set a date when the event will occur, and specify its location. You can even add a home screen widget to show the current countdown on Android. It’s not nearly as full-featured as a calendar app, but it really does only serve one purpose and does it very well.
