Vantage Calendar – a More Visual Way to View Your Calendar
iOS: Calendar apps are usually pretty boring and stick to a time-tested grid or list for displaying data. This is probably the best option for those with a lot to manage, but Vantage Calendar takes a completely new approach that is worth looking into if your schedule isn’t always busy.
Vantage Calendar offers several different ways to visualize your calendar. Most striking are Guitar Hero and Star Wars – the scrolling vertical timeline. In this view, you scroll through your calendar events in a giant timeline that disappears into the distance. Tap on any date and you have a stack of information for the day or week that looks a bit like any other calendar app. Of course, you can also add or edit events, integrate tasks, and whatever else you’d expect from any calendar. Vantage is certainly not for everyone, but it’s different enough to be worth checking out if you’re longing for something more experimental in your calendar app.
