Will It Be Sous Vide? Let’s Pick a Different Theme!

Hello my friend! And welcome back to ourWill It Sous Vide? , a weekly column where I do whatever you want with my immersion circulator.

Although tiny birds have become a major topic in the past week, there have actually been many good ideas and I would like to return to some of my favorites:

  • Cheese Dip: As suggested by hewhoraoms . I’m a fan of this as I really wanted to see how many different cheeses can be turned into sticky sodium citrate sauces.
  • DIY Starbucks Eggs : SavvyPerson brought this up and I think it might be fun. I still get tagged in photos of these things, so we can too.
  • Juicy Lucy: The hardest part about making this cheese burger is that it tends to fall apart. I think that our vacuum sealer can really help us with this and, as pointed out by Kenneth Conroy , will help us achieve the perfect “medium-rare burger with melted cheese and crispy inside.”

I personally root for Juicy Lucy – because how bad can that be? – but you guys decide. As always, leave any other brilliant ideas in the comments below and be sure to tag your favorites.
