Learn How to Cook Kevin’s Famous Chili in the Office
Kevin Malone of The Office doesn’t do a lot of things, but he knows exactly how to make a delicious batch of chili. This is probably what he does best. Here’s how to do it at home.
In this video, YouTube Chef Andrew Rea shows you how to make a chili recipe that has been passed down from generation to generation by Malone. If you’re unfamiliar with the source material, the character describes how he makes his famous chili byspilling it over an office carpet . It’s pretty tragic, but it’s also one of the most memorable moments for the characters.
To make your own chili, you’ll need dried ancho chili (you don’t need to fry them yourself) and dried cascable chili to even out the flavor. You will also need chicken stock, jalapenos, chopped tomatoes, garlic for pressing, and some onions for undercooking. Just follow the directions and you will have an amazing batch of chili in no time. Jokingly, Rea serves chili on the carpet, but I would recommend using a bowl.
