Make a Custom Gamepad With Bluetooth Mechanical Keyboard
We’ve seen tons of custom controllers over the years, but for those who prefer a tactile keyboard feel, Adafruit has put together a guide to making your own small gamepad with keyboard.
The idea here is to use the Cherry MX keyboard mechanical switch suite to create a small, portable keyboard controller that still looks pretty good. You will need to 3D print a few parts , solder a few connections together, and create a custom PCB, but the end result is a fully customizable miniature keyboard that will likely have many different uses.
