The season for Christmas cookies is almost over, but this quick cookie decorating tip from America’s Test Kitchen can be used throughout the year to coat delicious treats with holiday sprinkles.
The video above tells the whole story, but this is the easiest way to decorate a whole bunch of sugar cookies at once. Instead of rolling each ball of dough in a sprinkle or edible sheen, scoop a whole bunch of decorative, sugary nuggets into a Tupperware dish (or other resealable food storage container), toss your unbaked cookies in there, and shake, shake, shake while they will not become covered with a beautiful shiny dressing. Bake as usual, admire their beauty and enjoy.
