Make This Thanksgiving Leftover Pizza With Homemade Sweet Potato Crust

I love Thanksgiving dinner, but I love playing with leftovers even more. You’ve probably already mastered Thanksgiving Leftover Sandwich, but if you want to take your game to a whole new level, consider Thanksgiving Pizza with Sweet Potato Crust.

If you’ve never made your own pizza dough, don’t worry, it’s very simple; it really looks more like tortilla dough than real pizza dough. Simply scoop out the remaining sweet potato puree, add the egg, stir, and gradually add flour until you have a nice elastic dough. Dust a work surface with flour, roll out and transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment.

From there, it’s kind of a bargain-by-choice adventure. The Green Brothers use creamy spinach as a sauce, but you can use a gravy or any other creamy baking dish. Top with turkey meat, cranberry sauce pieces and grated cheese. Place the whole thing in a super hot oven (475 ℉) until the cheese is melted and the crust is crispy. After you swallow it, complete the video above for even more creative inspiration from the leftovers from Thanksgiving.
