Black Sand Desktop

We’ve seen a lot of water, beach and ocean based wallpapers lately and it makes us think that you guys are probably craving warmer weather. This one, from Sebastian , is a gorgeous, austere, black and white desktop with a little tweak. This is how it all works.

Sebastian runs on Windows, which means you’ll need Rainmeter for that. If you are not familiar, check out our getting started guide , it will help you.

Once you have mastered the basics, you will need these components to make your desktop look like this:

That’s all there is to know about it. You have to overlay some elements on top of each other to get the look you want, but it’s sharp. Black and white, minimalistic, not distracting, but still informative and useful when you can look at the desktop. If you have questions about how this was done, or want your system to look like and can’t figure it out, click on the Flickr link below to let Sebastian know how much you like his work and submit him there!

Do you have a beautiful and functional desktop to show off? Share with us!
