American Express Holders Get Free Uber Rides From Airport in December
If you use them responsibly, some credit cards offer great benefits . For example, American Express and Uber recently teamed up to offer two free rides from 11 major airports during December.
In a press release, Uber announced:
American Express and Uber announced a new travel incentive for US Card members to relieve stress while on vacation. Until 12/31/2016 Amex and Uber are offering 2 free trips home (up to $ 65 per ride) from 11 different US airports.
Anyone with an American Express card is eligible for this (but not prepaid cards), but you’ll need to link your card to the Uber app for it to work. You enter the code AMEXAIRPORT before requesting a ride. It is only available for rides from the airport, so you cannot use it to book an airport ride from your home.
Again, the offer is only available for 11 airports, so not every city is on the list; however, many of the major ones are included: JFK, LaGuardia, Chicago O’Hare, and Boston Logan, just to name a few. You can see the complete list at the link below.
