Todoist’s Smart Schedule Tells You the Perfect Deadline for Your Tasks
Your to-do list is supposed to help you stay organized, but you still have to do a lot of chores to manage your schedule. Todoist wants to make things easier by suggesting the best time to complete tasks based on your habits.
A new feature in the Smart Schedule app uses so-called “predictive task scheduling based on artificial intelligence” to determine the best time to complete your tasks. Obviously, the more you use Todoist, the more useful your suggestions will be.
Smart suggestions will be considered when you already have different due dates so that you don’t overwhelm your schedule on any particular day. It will also take into account how urgent the task is (based on an analysis of similar tasks for all users), when you usually end your day, and work days versus weekends. This all has to happen behind the scenes, so all you get is a few suggestions when setting a deadline, but if that works, it should passively help make it easier to manage your schedule.
