Collect and Display All Kinds of Weather Data With This Simple Raspberry Pi Based Weather Station

Using a Raspberry Pi to power a weather station is one of the most popular projects , but Make has added a few extra details, including a handy display that shows how the weather has changed.

This project uses a Raspberry Pi and Sense HAT to measure temperature, barometric pressure and humidity. Then it loads all this data into the Weather Underground. The Sense Hat display will show you how the temperature has changed since the last reading. All in all, this is probably one of the simplest weather station implementations we’ve seen, so if you’ve been overwhelmed by other similar projects it’s worth taking a look at.
