In this video, Scott Wadsworth of the Essential Craftsmen YouTube channel demonstrates a quick and clever technique for cutting a string without any tools. Just pull the cord, wrap it around your arm a couple of times, as shown in the video, and move it back and forth. Friction of string on string will pierce right through it. However, you can practice this technique with gloves. The friction that cuts the string can also affect your hand if you’re not dexterous.
