Will It Be Sous Vide? Let’s Pick a Different Theme!
Welcome back fellow sous vide fans for another hot and hot session of theme-making for Will It Sous Vide? , a weekly column where I do whatever you want with my immersion circulator.
I’m going to suggest a few topics, but I’m pretty sure we’re going to try our hand at chili this week. If you have a specific type of chili that you would like to cook, and there are many different styles, feel free to leave this suggestion in the comments. Here are a few more ideas in case you change your mind about chili peppers:
- Creme brulee: I have a flashlight!
- Thanksgiving parties: I really wanted to try mashed potatoes like this.
- Ice Cream: There will obviously be a freezing step, but this can be a great way to make a custard.
