All the Benefits of Good Posture

The internet is overflowing with advice on maintaining good posture ( guilty! ), But it’s not like you’ve been dragged to jail for “bad posture,” so what’s the big deal? Your muscles begin to tense, weaken, or slow down to establish your new “norm,” but those norms are not ideal for everyday life.

You don’t just go through your day sitting and standing every moment of your day. You also carry things uncomfortably, bend over to pick up something, skip, jump, exercise, and move in many different ways. Poor posture wears out on your body, so when you do these things, especially if you work out in the gym, you are more likely to pull, straighten, and damage something .
