TimeYourWeb Tracks and Analyzes How Much Time You Spend on Each Website

Chrome: There are many time tracking apps out there, but TimeYourWeb may be one of the simplest we’ve ever seen. It’s a free Chrome extension that doesn’t require a login, and it has some of the most user-friendly charts out there.

TimeYourWeb offers several ways to find out how much time you’ve spent on the site. While you’re on a page, an extension icon in the toolbar will show you how much time you’ve spent on that tab, so you can see at a glance if you’re not wasting too much time. This alone comes in handy when you swear you’re only going to check Facebook “for a minute.”

For long term analysis, you can view several different chart modes. The dashboard will give you an overview of which sites you spend the most time on in a day, week, or month. In playback mode, with the accumulation displays a bar graph with the accumulation, showing which sites are occupied most of your time each day.

However, in the Flow mode shown above, the fun begins. It displays detailed information about which sites you have been to by the minute, broken down by the hour. Whether you’re a freelancer or just trying to gauge how much time you are truly productive, it can immediately determine your most productive hours.
