AccessURL Allows You to Share Your Online Accounts While Keeping Your Password Safe
Chrome: Maybe you’re working with someone who needs access to your accounts, or maybe you just want to share your Netflix with someone. Whatever the reason, if you want to share your online accounts without giving your password, AccessURL allows you to do so.
The Chrome extension allows you to get your account URL and share it with anyone. You can set it to expire in a day, a week, or never. The extension generates a URL that another person can use to access your account for that period of time or until you log out, which is useful if you want to disable them.
The tool’s website explains it like this :
AccessURL does not rely on or access to usernames or passwords. Instead, AccessURL uses cookies. On most websites, this means that if you log out, everyone using your access url will also log out. This is one of the ways AccessURL puts security first.
By default, the AccessURL server cannot read user data. It doesn’t have a password (which is unique for each access url). The Chrome extension encrypts data before it reaches the server and does not issue a password to the server.
However, because it relies on cookies, it may not work with all systems (for example, accounts that require your IP address to verify). They use AES, the industry standard for encryption, to keep data safe. To verify this, follow the link below.
