Why Do You Need a “recipe Corner” in the Refrigerator?

Finding that someone was using a key ingredient you bought for a particular dish is frustrating, even worse when you were “someone”. Set aside a “recipe corner” in the refrigerator so that your family or housemates are not using the ingredients they need to eat at the end of the week.

When you get home from the grocery store, place your cooking supplies in one corner of the refrigerator. If you have more than one, just try to keep everything together and within sight so that no one mistook them for pick-up food. You can even use a bowl or container to group ingredients together so they can be easily removed from the refrigerator when you’re ready to cook.

If you have items that you don’t need to keep in the refrigerator, set aside a corner in your pantry to store those items separately. Of course, the key to this method is making sure your family or housemates (and you, of course) know to stay away from anything in the recipe corner.
