This Super Easy Plum Pie Just Looks Trendy.
Having a simple, quirky dessert that you can make at any time makes life a lot easier, and this (mostly) two-piece cake from Bon Appetit is a great thing to have in your arsenal.
I say “mainly” two ingredients because four of them are flavorings that you probably already have in your closet, namely honey, sugar, salt and pepper. As for the grocery list, you just need to grab the plums (or any other stone fruits) and frozen puff pastry. Cut the dough into squares, prick it with a fork, and fan the plum wedges on top of it so people think you are much more sophisticated than you are. Sprinkle with sugar, chop some pepper and bake in the oven for about half an hour at 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Remove the golden brown squares from the oven, drizzle with honey and sprinkle with good layered salt.
