Spotify Daily Mix Playlists Combine Old Favorites and New Artists Into One Playlist
Over the past couple of years, Spotify has introduced its Discover Weekly playlist, which aims to find new music, and the Release Radar playlist, which looks for new albums from your favorite artists. Today, it brings two ideas together in the Daily Mix, which brings together the artists you’ve listened to with new material.
As the name suggests, Daily Mix is customizable every day and constantly updated based on your listening habits. Depending on the breadth of your listening habits, you will receive a different number of mixes per day, and each will be tagged by the artists who inspired it, which usually depends on the genre. If you don’t like something, you can click the ban button so that it doesn’t pop up again. Daily Mix works like a Pandora station that automatically tunes in without any action from you. This mix is being released for iOS and Android today. You will find it under the “Library” tab.
