Will It Be Sous Vide? Let’s Pick a Different Theme!

Hey cats and kittens, and welcome back to another session on theme making for Will it Sous Vide? where you can do a little work with me and my immersion circulator.

Everyone has done a great job of teaming up to get the squid video, but this week I’m going to step back from control and go over every weird and wonderful topic you can think of. However, I do suggest a few that I think would be worth our time:

  • Fermentation: As Antiphas suggests in this detailed commentary , yoghurts, kefirs, and breads are good candidates for Anova’s treatment.
  • Beef Tongue: I don’t think you guys will ever let me do this, but I’m going to keep writing here. (I mean I could just do it myself, but where’s the fun in that?)
  • Pumpkin Pie: As suggested by Josch Schmenge . Now is the time of the year.
  • Infuse Booze: I’m shocked that we haven’t used this thing to make bitters or other infused ethanol yet. Shocked.

Do it well. Do whatever you can, or whatever you think will be the most interesting.
