TheAppStore Searches ITunes and Mac App Store Using Age, Price and Rating Filters
Internet: For some reason, Apple has never created a fully functional online version of the iTunes App Store or Mac App Store, and it has definitely not created a simple web search tool. Well, now there is a fan-made app for that. TheAppStore finally lets you browse the web of iOS and Mac apps from any device.
Search whatever you want, or browse the top 100 apps for iPhone, iPad or Mac. You can filter apps by last updated date, rating, or price. You can also limit your search to categories.
Apps are displayed in a single list with the name, rating and category of the developer. Sorry, no full description is available. Click any application to view its screenshots, or use the menu option to expand all screenshots.
However, you still cannot initiate remote download on your iPhone. Click the price box to open the app in iTunes or the Mac App Store and download it there.
