Create a Physical Password Store That Stores Your Passwords
Password managers are an easy way to make your passwords more secure . If you’ve ever needed a physical device that could store passwords, Adafruit can help you.
To do this, you need a Circuit Playground board, a battery, and some copper foil. This password store holds 10 passwords, each associated with a button. To use it, you connect the storage to your computer, go to the login page, then click the button to paste your password so you don’t have to remember a complex password. This is useful in cases where the password manager may not help you, for example, your computer login or even the password manager’s master password. Of course, this is as safe as you can keep the physical object, so if you go this route make sure you don’t lose it. Even if you don’t use it, it’s an interesting idea that applies to other projects.
