Use Bottle Caps to Keep Eggs Stable (and Other Uses for Plastic Bottles)
If you don’t use the entire cardboard box, the eggs will be difficult to handle in the kitchen as they roll around on the countertop. Here’s an easy way to keep them in place until you need them: Slip on an upside-down bottle cap.
You can use a plastic bottle cap or even a beer bottle cap for this. Just flip it over and place the egg in it. It also pairs well with fruits that curl easily, such as tangerines, and is perfect for situations where you need table space but don’t want the ingredients rolling while you work.
