All the Best Movies to Hit and Leave Netflix in September 2016

September heralds the beginning of fall, and the cold air leaves more excuses to sit around booze and watch Netflix. Netflix is bringing with it some originals and some real classics this month.

Basic moments

Season 2 of The Excellent Narcos , Season 5 of Longmire, and Season 1 of Marvel’s Luke Cage will come to the fore this month. There won’t be any Netflix feature films, but they do tons of documentaries. These include the undoubtedly lighthearted chef’s table in France, along with heavier films like Amanda Knox, which tells the story of a Seattle woman who spent four years in an Italian prison on murder charges, Audrey and Daisy, detailing describes sexual assault in high school, White Helmets, which examines the Syrian Civil Defense and Extremis, which makes end-of-service decisions.

As far as blockbusters go, this month you’ll have a lot, including Footloose , ( RT: 54% ) Jaws ( RT: 97% ), Top Gun ( RT: 55% ), and Saving Private Ryan ( RT: 92% ) . These are not only old films, but the very well-received Zootopia ( RT: 98% ) and The Imitation Game ( RT: 90% ) are coming out this month.

Plus, if you want to watch one of thebest and worst remakes ever made, The Wicker Man ( RT: 15% ) starring Nicolas Cage is due out on September 1st.

This is a small list of movies that Netflix is leaving this month, but you definitely want to watch Days of Thunder ( RT: 39% ) before watching Top Gun . Also excluded are Roman Holidays ( RT: 98% ), The Bridge on the River Kwai ( RT: 94% ) and Zoolander ( RT: 64% ). On the TV side, you’re going to want to finally end this booze on the excellent sci-fi series Fringe before it hits 9/11. If for some reason you are watching Everybody Loves Raymond, you better finish it before the first one.
