Navbar Tuner Opens Hidden Navigation Bar Tuner in Android Nougat for Some Nexus

Android Nougat : Google loves experimenting with beta versions of Android. One such excluded feature is a powerful tool that lets you customize a small bar at the bottom of the screen using the Home and Back buttons. If you have multiple Nexus, you can get them back.

The customization tools are broken down into several sub-functions. The clipboard feature lets you drag and drop items onto the navigation bar to save them for later, for example, to save a selection of text. Another feature, called Keycode, allows you to save a series of keystrokes, which you can activate with one button press later. Think of them as rudimentary writable Autohotkey scripts .

All of these features are quite complex and not intended for the average user, which is probably why they are not included in Android Nougat. However, if you have a Nexus 5X, 6, or 6P, you can flash the XDA package below to get these features on your device. Note: This is all highly experimental, likely hacked and not sanctioned by Google in any way. If you want to give it a try, please read all instructions and proceed at your own risk.
