Create a DIY Weather Display With Raspberry Pi and LED Matrix

Weather Displays is a fun project that has also proven to be quite rewarding. On Instructables, DIYer AughtNaughtZero shows you how to build a display that will show you the forecast for each day.

This project runs on a Raspberry Pi that connects to the Weather Underground. Once it receives the forecast, it displays the forecast using a dictionary matrix that is backed up by a string of LEDs. It’s a pretty clever little design that’s very different from the designs we’ve seen before. This requires some soldering skills and a lot of patience, so head over to Instructables for a complete guide.
