Pixelmator for IOS Adds Magnetic and Quick Select Tools
iOS: Pixelmator is an amazingly robust image editing tool for iPhone and iPad, and it just got a little easier to use with the new selection tools today.
Two new tools make it much easier to select objects on the screen. The Quick Selection tool lets you select portions of an image using an intelligent system that analyzes color and texture, making it easier to select a specific object in an image. Magnetic selection works just like it does in desktop apps, automatically snapping to the objects you track, giving you more manual control than the quick selection tool, while still being used on a small screen like an iPhone. There are several other minor improvements and bug fixes in this update as well, but the new selection tools are easily the stars of the update.
