Steve Womack of Arkansas tried to convince delegates to accept the rules by simply shouting yes or no, chaos erupted in the assembly hall. Unruh and the Colorado delegation left , as did the Iowa delegation.

Spokesman Steve King said “Western civilization” provides more historical contributions than any other subgroup of people.
