Command Center Turns an IOS-Style Control Center on Your Mac

Mac: If you’re a fan of the iOS Control Center, Command Center is a Mac app worth taking a look at. It locks the Control Center style interface to the side of the screen along with an activity monitor to load.

The Command Center is created by the same people as the original Control Center for Mac , but it adds toggles and a new Activity Monitor. The idea here is pretty simple: when you hover your mouse over the edge of the screen, the Control Center appears and you can toggle basic settings like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or Do Not Disturb. You can also hide desktop icons and turn on F.lux-style screen warming. This is a bunch of things that are already available in the settings or in the menu bar, but it is very convenient to have quick access to it. That said, like its predecessor, Command Center is a bit pricey for what it does – $ 10 – but you can check out the seven-day trial to see if you like it.
