How to Turn Off Facebook Live Notifications
When Facebook releases new features, they seem to like to ignore your default settings and switch every notification to loud. Facebook Live is one of the newest features, and if you’re tired of getting notified every time friends decide to live stream their ride through traffic, here’s how to turn them off.
- Click the drop-down arrow in the far right corner.
- Click “Settings”.
- Click “Notifications”.
- Click on Facebook.
- In the Live Videos settings, set the switch to the “All Off” position.
That’s it, you will stop receiving live video notifications and you can return to your quiet life. While you’re there, make sure everything else you don’t want to be notified about is also turned off.
