Download Dozens of Free Coursera Courses Before They Disappear Forever

Coursera , one of the best sources for massive open online courses, is shutting down its old platform on June 30 and removing dozens of courses. Here are two ways to save all course materials until they are gone.

Popular courses such as Social Psychology from Wesleyan, Automatic Jeffrey Ullman , Introduction to Mathematical Thinking Keith Delwin from Stanford andBitcoin and kriptovalyutnye technology from Princeton University – these are just some of the dozens of courses that can be lost during the transition. To get all the lecture videos, slides, transcripts and more, Dhawal Shah from Class Central offers two methods: Coursera Materials Downloader plugin for Google Chrome and Python script . The only small snag is that courses must be open for enrollment or you are already enrolled if you want to use the Chrome plugin. Otherwise, you will have to use a Python script to collect all the materials. Don’t delay – at the end of June, these wonderful dishes may never return. For complete step-by-step instructions on using the Chrome plugin and Python script, visit the link below.

Update: A Coursera rep contacted us and said that there are only a few dozen courses thatwill not be migrated to the new platform , not “hundreds” as originally reported. The title and text of this article have been changed to reflect this.
