Make This No-Bake Cake That Combines All Kinds of Delicious Snacks

It’s not the healthiest thing you could possibly prepare, but it is one of the simplest and most palatable sweet treats to the public, and any snacks you already have (or the cocktail at the bottom of the bags) are ideal ingredients.

The video above from Epicurious tells a tale, but the recipe is simple enough. You will need peanut butter (or nutella, or any other nut butter ), a little honey, a little vanilla extract, and a little coconut oil (it’s sweet and hardens when cooled, more on that in a moment). Mix it all until smooth and you have a “base” for the cake.

Then add snacks. Seriously, almost anything you like to eat. Potato chips add a sweet-salty flavor, crispy rice flakes are perfect (à la Rice Crispy), frozen or salty Chex mix, pretzels, nuts, and more. If you love to eat it, it will work. Mix everything, pour into a baking dish covered with plastic wrap and leave in the refrigerator for about an hour.

Here it is really done and you can enjoy it, but in the video, they take it out of the fridge, sprinkle it with melted chocolate and coconut oil, and then put it back in for about 10 minutes so it can be adjusted. That’s all there is to it. No baking, no mixer, just some elbow grease and all the snacks in your kitchen. Enjoy.
