Day Remains: Google’s Project Fi Gets More Cellular Coverage in US
As you may know, Google’s Project Fi Cellular Service is actually an MVNO that connects to existing networks to provide services to your cell. They now work with US Cellular to give you more coverage and speed.
- US cellular is the fifth largest mobile network in the country and is available in 23 states, so adding them to Project Fi’s coverage could be a significant improvement for some users. Turn on battery saving mode along with their ad blocker, and Opera claims you’ll get almost 50 percent more battery life compared to similar usage in Chrome.
