Alfred 3.0 Provides More Workflow Flexibility, Better Text Enhancement and Multimedia Clipboard

OS X: Alfred, one of our favorite application launchers , has just been updated with a ton of useful new features. As the name suggests, Alfred looks like your Mac’s butler, and he just bought a new tuxedo.

Highlights include a lot of flexibility for already very efficient workflows with new Filter, Transform, Replace helper objects, as well as many sample workflows.

The clipboard has also increased and can now copy images to the clipboard history in addition to text clips. What’s more, the text expansion snippet system now automatically expands when you enter a keyword to use it in conjunction with other text expanders. There are many other minor updates as well – new theme features, improved file navigation and system commands, and performance improvements. You will still need to buy Powerpack for useful features, but you can start with the free version if you just want to search for files and run applications.
