If you’ve never attended Free Comics Day, everything you need to know is in the title. Participating comic stores receive packs of comics and distribute them to anyone who walks into the store. Go to the official store search page , enter your zip code and you will receive a list of all stores in your area participating in the event. There are several different icons on the results to help you find the store that suits you. In particular, some are getting a family viewing badge , which means the store has a good selection of comics for young children. Some stores also host special events such as artist performances, autographs, sales or giveaways. If the store is doing something special, you will see a note below the result with a link to their plans.
