Launcher Now Supports Multiple Widgets in Notification Center
iPhone: Launcher is one of our favorite iPhone app launchers and it gets a lot better today with its support for multiple widgets in the Notification Center. This means you can host a ton of actions in your Notification Center.
The launcher now allows you to create up to five sets of widgets in the Action Center, each with its own set of launchers. If you’ve never used Launcher before, it’s a smart app that lets you tap an icon in the Notification Center to navigate to a specific part of a specific app. This includes things like getting directions home in Apple Maps, sending text to a specific person, or even opening Bluetooth settings. Besides the new options for multiple widgets, you can now customize Launcher to show or hide widgets based on the time of day or your location. This is great if you want to create one activity list when you’re at home, another when you’re at work, and one when you’re at the gym. Shortcuts take time to get used to and think about ideas for using them, but once you do, they become extremely useful.
