Build This Two Player Arcade Table From Raspberry Pi and IKEA Parts

We showed you some awesome IKEA gaming tables and even a two-player coffee table mod , but this one takes our favorite emulation module, the Raspberry Pi, fits it into an affordable IKEA table, packs it in a pair of control sticks, and lets you use existing screens to play.

The guys at Element14 passed it on to us – they call it the PIK3A Mk II Gaming Table, powered by the Raspberry Pi 3, and it’s a huge improvement over the single-player Mk I we talked about a while ago . While the Mk I had a built-in screen, it looked pretty awkward to use for a long time, so this one allows you to sit at a table and play while sitting upright, and offloads video work to an HDTV or other large screen. you already have (or even better, if you really love retro games, a good big CRT.) Here is a video of the project:

In terms of price, a trip to IKEA will help, and since the LACK table is cheap and easily reconfigurable, you can include a shelf for Bluetooth controllers if you don’t want to use arcade joysticks for magazines or other brochures. , or anything else that you might want to save while playing. However, it is tough enough to withstand blows while you and your friend throw yourself. Follow the link below for more photos and a step-by-step guide.
