MightyTV Offers Content to Watch Based on Your Subscription Services
iOS: When you’re looking for something new to watch, it’s easy to get lost in all the options for watching Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Video, and whatever other services you have. MightyTV is a free app that brings everything in one place and helps you choose.
You tell the app what services you have, or if they are downloaded to your phone, the app will find them. From there, register using your Facebook account. Once you’ve done that, MightyTV will start recommending content for viewing. Then, using a few actions, you tell him what you like, what you don’t like, and what you want to watch later:
- Swipe right to like
- Swipe left to dislike
- Swipe up to skip
- Click for more information and preview
- Click the Watchlist icon to add it to your watchlist.
- Tap the play icon to select episodes to watch now.
The app will tell you where you can watch each show – Netflix, Prime, HBO GO – and if you select an episode, it will open the app for you so you can start watching. You can also search for shows that are popular in the app’s community or with your Facebook friends.
It’s useful to watch all the programs and movies that you have access to, but I also like to use it to keep track of whatever I want to watch. Unfortunately, there is no version for Android yet, but TV Series can be compared to an app on Google Play. Sure, it doesn’t work the same way as MightyTV, but it lets you keep track of your shows in one place.
