The Bar Roulette IOS App Makes Bar Adventures Even Better
Bar Roulette, a smart service that sends you and your friends to random top-rated bars in your area, now has a dedicated iOS app with a new level of premium service and Foursquare support.
As we mentioned earlier , Bar Roulette uses Uber’s open API and Yelp ratings to help you find the best bars in your area. The trick is that you don’t know where you are going until you arrive. No one in your group should make any decisions, you just need to be open-minded.
The service, formerly a web app, now has a dedicated iOS app to make life easier for iPhone users, and a Foursquare-backed premium tier that lets you filter bar prices and the ability to view the columns you’ve discovered using the Bar Roulette in past. The app is free to download and use, but you’ll need a one-time payment of $ 2.99 to access premium features. Tyler Schwartz, the creator of the service, suggests there will be a few more additional features in the future (like filtering the bars you’ve been to), and anyone who pays three dollars now will have access to all of those features in the future.
