Google Maps for IOS Adds Extended Travel Times, Easy Sharing, and Customizable Night Mode
iPhone: Google Maps has a handy new update today that adds an extension that lets you quickly check commute to home or work from Action Center. It also adds improved sharing and a night mode switch.
By turning on the travel time widget, you can open the Action Center and see how long it will take to get to your home or work, wherever you are. You can now also easily share your route with someone by clicking on the three-dot icon in the upper right corner and selecting Share Route. Finally, you can now set any color scheme you want. Automatically switch between day and night modes based on the time of day, or you can override this to set it any time you like.
