Make Stronger Wood Seams by Using Hot Glue As a Wood Glue Clamp

Wood glue is designed to firmly hold and create durable wood seams, but takes some time to dry. In contrast, hot glue hardens almost instantly. The combination of these two elements provides the ideal method for creating strong wood seams.

In this video from Woodomain YouTube channel, Jeremy Brown shows you some clever ways to use hot glue in your workshop. In fact, you can use hot glue as a decent method to bond two wood seams together while the wood glue dries. Apply wood glue around the edge of the surface you want to join and leave a dry spot in the center. Apply some hot glue to the dry center, then glue the two pieces of wood together. The hot glue in the middle will hold the wood together while the wood glue dries, creating a beautiful and durable joint.
