Readism Adds a Reading Time Estimate to Every Web Article
Chrome: Sometimes the assessment of whether you want to read an article comes down to just how much time you have at the moment. Readism is a simple little add-on that increases the average reading time of articles so you can make that choice quickly.
At the bottom of every article that you open, Readism adds a small reading time indicator. You can adjust the size of this window and the time it is displayed on the Readism settings page. Reading time is based on an average, so while it is not an accurate measure of the time it takes to read an article, it is better than nothing. However, personalized reading times are supposedly approaching, so it might be worth keeping an eye on that in the future.
