Make Three Complete Meals With One Roast Chicken

We are no stranger to cooking one chicken and eating it in multiple meals , but this video from our friends at Epicurious takes everything up a notch. You will learn how to prepare three meals: a chicken salad sandwich, a fried chicken dinner, and a seriously improved chicken soup.

The first is the first in Epicurious’s Mega Bites series, which, if you can’t tell, is all about video games. Love it or hate it (we love it), the recipes and instructions are still good, and you can do everything here without using the real recipe. An eyeball is enough as long as you eat to taste. The chicken and salad sandwich is simple enough, and it uses a portion of the chicken breast from the fried chicken (or grilled chicken if you want to buy it at the grocery store – honestly, this will make all three meals even cheaper), and for dinner with fried chicken uses the legs as the main protein on the plate.

That said, chicken soup is amazing and definitely not something you can probably just whisk together unless you have broth, jalapenos, courgettes, cabbage, bok choy, and lime in your kitchen. You can substitute for some of the other crunchy greens you may have, and the best part of the recipe is that it actually uses that chicken carcass to extract as much of the flavor as possible into your broth (and it will soon become the basis for chicken soup). as much as possible. a feeling that I can completely fall behind.
