Easy Stretches Almost Anyone Can Do to Stay Flexible

Flexibility is very important, especially as you age. Here are some basic daily stretching exercises to help you improve and maintain flexibility.

The piriformis muscle shown above is arguably the most difficult of the 12 stretches, but it can help with tension in your hips. Other stretches include neck twists, torso twists, and the familiar quadriceps stretch. Some also have yoga equivalents such as back scratching (also known as cow face pose ):

If any of this is difficult for you, you can use a prop, such as the strap for the stretching described above, but of course, hold on if you feel pain.

I love that they cover most of the areas where people feel shy. These are simple stretch marks, but that’s the beauty of them.
