Best Time to Book a Hotel for Summer Travel to 25 Popular Destinations
If you’re planning a vacation this summer, it’s time to start planning. We’ve told you when is the best time to book cheap flights , and in our new report, TripAdvisor shows you the best times to book accommodation in 25 popular destinations.
TripAdvisor analyzed pricing data from April 2014 to February 2016, with a focus on summer travel: June, July and August. Their results vary quite a lot from region to region and, of course, even more from city to city.
For example, if you are planning a trip to Asia, you want to book it about three months in advance to save about 23% off the peak price. And here are the results for a few specific cities around the world.
- Bangkok: within 3 months – 16% savings
- Tokyo : 2-5 months with 31% savings
- Paris: Within 4 months – 32% savings
- Sydney : Within 5 months – 34% savings
