Strengthen Your Grip With These Vintage Strongman Finger Exercises

If you want to increase your grip strength, these finger exercises will definitely strengthen your handshake. All you need is a really heavy book.

To get your arm muscles working, Brett and Keith McKay of The Art of Manliness recommend that you try some old-fashioned weight lifting exercises. Place a heavy book on the edge of a table or counter (the heavier the better). Now slide your fingers under the book and lift it up with one finger. Do a few repetitions with each finger before moving on to the next. Then turn your hand over and do the same as before, only in reverse order. Your hands will be very strong in no time.
