Make Simple Jam and Vinegar Duck Sauce

Duck sauce is great for cooking or as a delicious dipping sauce. And you can make a passing batch with two storage brackets.

If you’re looking for a quick dip in egg rolls, wontons, or dumplings, Jennifer Perillo of Food52 has a clever recipe for a simple duck sauce. Simply mix three tablespoons of apricot jam with half tablespoons of red wine or white vinegar. The acidic vinegar mixes perfectly with the sugar in the apricot jam for a classic pungent flavor. It will come out a little chunky, but if it bothers you, throw it in a mini-harvester or shredder to make it runny.
