Todoist for Mac and IPhone Updates With Quick Shortcuts, More Accurate Dates and More

OS X / iOS: Todoist is one of our favorite business apps , and today the Mac and iPhone versions have received big updates to make them easier to use. Mac app updates make it easier to add and schedule tasks, while iPhone version updates take advantage of 3D Touch in iOS 9 and other features.

On OS X, pressing Shift + Cmd + A will bring up the Todoist quick add panel. If you’ve used launchers like Spotlight or Alfred, this will be familiar, but then you can enter your activity and the time you want to schedule it and Todoist will parse the date in plain language, schedule it, and add it. to your list on one screen. Likewise, there is a new Todoist plugin for Safari that lets you quickly add tasks from the web.

On iOS, the app gets deep links, so when you click on a link, it opens in Todoist, unless you want it to open in a web browser, and 3D Touch makes it easy to long press on an app icon and quickly add a case, see what on your plate for today, or see what you have next week. A new version of the Apple Watch is also coming out today.
