Use Leftover Peanut Butter by Making Hot Chocolate in a Jar

When you finish a can of peanut butter, there is always little left in the can, no matter how hard you try to scoop it out. Instead of letting that waste go to waste, you can use it all to make a delicious cup of peanut butter hot chocolate.

In this video, Leslie Stevens of Food52 shows how you can even use the peanut butter jar itself for mixing. Heat the milk in the microwave or on the stove, but do not bring it to a boil. Add some hot cocoa mixture and some sugar to the jar, then pour over the milk. Close the jar with a lid and shake. Likewise, you have a hot, flavorful drink that Reese would envy, and no more wasted peanut butter. You can also use the same method with a nearly empty jar of Nutella.
